Project Ouidaha project to improve the infrastructure of a Nigerian refugee school in Ouidah, Benin
Where is Ouidah, Benin?
Project Ouidah is a brand new ESW project that we are very excited about! Below is some general information:
Kathleen Bush-Joseph, working as part of a soon-to-be non-governmental organization (NGO) Bras Ouverts – Open Arms (BOOA) reached out to us with a potential project. They work with Nigerian refugee school in the town of Ouidah, Benin, on a multitude of projects. They hope to improve their facilities with our help, especially with regards to power, water, and waste management.
Our first goal is to have full team meetings to develop the projects and discuss the scope of the projects. We plan to split into three teams with each team focusing on a different project and researching how to tackle each. Teams may then be integrated into one larger group that have intersecting goals and project plans.
We are currently in contact with Kathleen and have asked her questions about the specifics of each project. Over the last few weeks, we have met with Kathleen both in person and virtually, and have been consistent in contact.
